The danger of carrying valuables was illustrated when a woman in Scotland had around $50,000 of jewelry stolen.
The woman found that a wallet containing the jewels had disappeared when she arrived at her venue in Scotland, although it is not clear whether the wallet was stolen during a railroad journey or as she made her way to a restaurant near the station.
Among the jewelry items that went missing were a solitaire diamond ring, an emerald and diamond three-stone ring, a five-stone brilliant cut diamond ring, a brilliant cut diamond pendant and gold chain.
Also among the jewels were a pink sapphire and diamond cluster ring, brilliant cut diamond stud earrings, two tanzanite and diamond rings, a ruby and diamond ring and a black opal and diamond ring.
